Abstract

Trans-Planckian censorship conjecture prohibits that the sub-Planckian wavelengths during inflation to become classical. Under standard assumptions on the speeds of the tensor-to-scalar ratio, which set the speed of these perturbations equal to the light speed, the upper bound on the tensor-to scalar ratio is reduced to the extent that there will be no prospect for the detection of tensor perturbations in the CMB. In this article, we show that with reducing the speed of tensor perturbations one can enhance the tensor-t-scalar ratio to an observable limit without violating the criteria of the effective field theory of inflation.
