چکیده
محاسبات نشان میدهد که جهت بررسی مایعات ناهمگن, وجود جمله مرتبه سوم در بسط پتانسیل ترمودینامیکی ضروری است و عبارت مرتبه سوم طوری انتخاب میشود که پتانسیل ترمودینامیکی, فشار کپهای صحیح را نتیجه دهد. در این مقاله برای مدل مایع کره سخت در مجاورت دیواره سخت که یک سیستم کلاسیکی ناهمگن است, نشان دادهایم که اگر از تابع همبستگی سه تایی که در عبارت مرتبه سوم ظاهر میشود صرفنظر کرده ولی از تابع همبستگی دوتایی دقیقی که فشار کپهای صحیح را نتیجه میدهد استفاده کنیم, باز هم جواب قابل قبولی برای ساختار مایع ناهمگن به دست نمیآید و وجود جمله مرتبه سوم ضروری است.

The third order term in the density functional is required for study of an inhomogeneous fluid. This term can be chosen such that, the thermodynamic potential gives the correct bulk pressure. The density porofile of a hard sphere fluid near hard wall which is an inhomogeneous fluid is obtained and it is shown that, if the third order term is ignored, although an exact bulk direct correlation function which gives the correct bulk pressure is used, the thermodynamic potential does not yield the correct density profile.
